3 Day Weekend
Wow this weekend....
So uneventful, yet I got SO much done.
-I cleaned the apartment (like really cleaned, with Comet and scrubbing and everything), which I've been putting off for a couple weeks. I've been doing basic cleaning, like picking up and laundry and such but not that two or three hour scrub and de-grunge fest with the muscle ache afterward that lets me know that I actually did something.
-I worked out (Saturday, 8 miles, Sunday the usual "easy/light cross-training" day), and made up 7 miles today (Monday) that I had put off from last weekend.
-I washed my car and cleaned the inside out (surfaces, vacuuming). It needed it desperately.
James had competition all day Saturday and Sunday. Because he started so early on both days, he left for Dallas (all the coaches had hotel rooms: boys in one, girls in the other) on Friday nite so he wouldn't be leaving here at 4 in the morning to be on time. He had an early day Sunday also so I didn't see him that nite either. It was kind of nice having the bed all to myself, and noone keeping me awake by snoring, but it was also kind of not-nice having noone there to comfort me after a bad dream. I have bad dreams all the time, it's nice to have someone there to keep the boogieman away.
I also got my birth certificate in the mail from my parents. I need it for my passport application. It smelled like pot. I tried to let it air out so that it won't reek of reefer so much when I take it to get my passport.
Oh-and I took a hot bath. Not a LONG hot bath like I wanted because there were stupid kids running up and down the hall/breezeway thinger of the apartment knocking on every door and asking for their friend. I didn't know that was the goings-on until I peeked out my door and they had moved onto the next door. Totally messed up the thing I had going with the relaxing and the calm.
I don't want to go back to work tomorrow. I do like my job, but lately my supervisor (whose spot I'm training to take as she moves up to Operations)has been incredibly stressed out and everyone is bearing the brunt of it. And it's tiring. Plus I just don't wanna work. It's much more satisfying to sit on my ass and watch bad E! shows about people I don't care about. But I guess that's life. At least it will be a short week.
...Well the weeks always the same length...the amount of days I have to work in it will be less this time.
